Training In Restorative Justice

IRJRD offers a range of values-based training opportunities to assist schools in implementing the Texas Model of Restorative Discipline.  Skills trainings in restorative practices include circle facilitation for classroom management and climate change and Tier II and Tier III interventions. Implementation trainings are customized for individual campuses and districts.  They include administrator/leadership readiness, restorative coordinator training, and teacher training. Strategic planning and consulting are available upon request to help ensure long-term sustainability.

Trainings conducted periodically throughout the year at UT Austin’s School of Social Work (or nearby facility) and Weatherford College are open to the public.  IRJRD also conducts private trainings for individual campuses and school districts.
